Adopt a Children's Mission Project

"Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted."  Isaiah 12:4

Even Jesus' littlest lambs can help proclaim His Name to the nations! Supporting an LHF mission project gives children the opportunity to learn about their brothers and sisters in Christ, who just happen to live halfway around the world.  For a printable list of these projects click here.  The following projects are in need of your support:

JUAN 3:16

Children in Central and South America want to learn about their Savior Jesus, but Sunday school teachers and parents have few materials to teach from. They need your help! It takes only $5 to provide families in countries like the Dominican Republic, Peru and Mexico with their own copy of A Child's Garden of Bible Stories written in the Spanish language. More

PNG: People Needing God in Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea (often called PNG) is a remote island in Southeast Asia where ancient traditions of spirit worship persist. The PNG people need God, and your students can help! Just $5 provides a Bible storybook or Small Catechism translated into the Tok Pisin language. More

LET ME LEARN OF JESUS:
Lutheran books for Ghana

In areas of rural Ghana where the literacy rate is very low, the Holy Spirit is working powerfully through His Word! For just $5 per child, your students can provide Bible storybooks and Small Catechisms that will not only share the Good News with families in Ghana, but will also help Lutheran school students and illiterate adults learn to read.  More

MISSION: POSSIBLE

Somalia is often called "the country most hostile to the Gospel," and with good reason. Christians in the militantly Muslim country face such intense persecution that only 0.01% of the population dares to call themselves Christian. It would seem impossible to share the Good News in such a hard place, but with God, all things are possible! (Mark 9:23)  More

MON AMI, JÉSUS

Did you know that in nearly a quarter of the world's countries, French is either an official language or is widely spoken by the people? Opportunities to share God's Word, introducing French-speaking families to their Savior, are plenty! Your students can introduce children around the world to their very best Friend (Ami), Jesus Christ when they provide books like Luther's Small Catechism and A Child's Garden of Bible Stories in the French language.  More

LET THE CHILDREN COME TO ME

The Lutheran church is growing in Southeast Asia, and congregations want to start Sunday schools to teach their children about the Savior. Their biggest obstacle is that there's no Lutheran Sunday school material available in their language.  But your students can help. For only $2 per child, your students can provide a year's worth of Sunday school lessons for a child in countries like Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia.  More

ONE HUNDRED BIBLE STORIES FOR UKRAINE

Forty years ago, the atheist Soviet government nearly extinguished the Light of the Gospel in Ukraine. Today, children can help the Gospel Light shine by helping to provide Bible storybooks for children in Ukraine. Just $10 puts One Hundred Bible Stories or other youth materials, translated and published in their language, into the hands of a Ukrainian child.  More

Amigos en Cristo

Over 250 million people worldwide speak Spanish as a first language - including many friends and neighbors right here in the United States. With their mission offerings, your students can share the Gospel with their Spanish-speaking friends in Christ. Every $10 mission gift gives a Spanish Bible with Small Catechism to a Christian in countries like Nicaragua, Chile, Cuba and Mexico.  More

TELLING THE NEXT GENERATION:
CHILDREN'S BIBLES FOR SOUTHEAST ASIA

In nations where Lutheranism didn't exist a generation ago, parents want to teach their children about Jesus. Your students can help. For only $5, they can provide a Bible storybook (A Child's Garden of Bible Stories) for families in countries like Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and China. More
