LHF Christmas Ornaments November 7, 2023

Your Giving Tree can point the way to Jesus

Every day, LHF receives far more requests for the books of our Lutheran faith, translated into the languages of the people, than we can answer. This Christmas season, there are a variety of projects still awaiting funding to print.

Pass Along the Gift of the Gospel

In the true spirit of Christmas, bring your family or church family together in adopting an LHF mission project that will tell new believers about the Savior. Every $5 you, your church, or your family gathers provides a family in another part of the world with a book about our Lutheran faith, written in languages they can read and understand.

Giving Trees and Christmas Stockings

•   Include LHF paper ornaments on your church’s Giving Tree, which you can print out from the links below. Print the ornaments, hang on your Giving Tree for parishioners to pick up, and provide a collection site for donations.

•   Organize a collection within your immediate or extended family, and include an LHF ornament on your family Christmas tree for every book you donate.

•   For immediate family, include an LHF ornament or two in the children’s stockings, and on Christmas morning explain how they’re helping to tell other children about Jesus’ birth!
